as we now get asked a lot why we discontinue this
system: the stop is final, we will not offer it again. The system is complicated, needs a lot of effort from our side and too often we had customers very critical that the stock tachometer will not function with it, rotorweight would be too less to enable nice engine run, missing keyway would put engine at risk (which we dispute vehemently) and every customer had a different (often between them very conflicting) idea on advance curve. |

Magnet based generator with integrated solid state ignition. Output at 12V/100W DC. Replaces dynamo and all ignition parts on left side of engine as well as transducers and regulator. Ignition advance is digital and does away with the instable idling speed known with the original analogue advance. Ignition follows the curve as discussed in La Strega. As ignition is now triggered at crankshaft level and not at camshaft level, there is no distortion by the belt any more. No changes on engine housing required. You may drive without battery, if you want. Note: the stock tachometer is not supported and will not work with the system the system is not suitable for the 500 |

we have stopped offering this system which consumes a lot of effort from our side with at the same time very slow sales, as we have frequent customer complaints that flywheel is not heavy enough with its 720g, stock tachometer can not be used any more and advance lines would not be as wanted, though we had modeled this as per La Strega discussions. Also the system has often been used in 500cc engines, against our express info not to do this as 500 does not like this system at all. | |
