| Now and than we get customers sending us export papers for goods they had received from us to German addresses, asking for VAT refund. |

We have to inform that it is legally NOT possible to claim VAT back for private exports of parts for transport vehicles such as cars and motorcycles |

Umsatzsteuergesetz §6 Ausfuhrlieferung, insbesondere Absatz 3 Nr. 1 und
2. It reads "goods for use in private means of transport (such as cars, boats, aircraft) ... parts for motor vehicles ... are excluded from Tax reclaim during non-commercial travel" |
