NOTE: There have been 2 versions of Montesa. Main difference relative to ignition system is thickness of magneto side crankshaft pin. Best way of distinction: size of rotor fastening nut. To system with M18 nut see here.
Magnet based generator with integrated solid state ignition, Light output 12V/70W AC (regulator may be supressed if not needed).

Ignition with own power supply from within the system. Replaces original Magneto as well as all ignition parts.
Does not require changes on crankcase. Rotor weight 1.1kg, if wanted as option (72 32 799 ac2) with 2kg rotor.
El sistema AC (corriente alterna) no respalda ni indicador de carga de la batería o la dirección (luz intermitente), entonces no se puede utilizar - sin excepción - en la circulación normal. Sistema DC (corriente continua) para batería y soporte de la luz intermitente a petición disponible como sistema 72 32 799 DC. referente a esto aquí.
Ventajas comparadas con el viejo sistema:
  • todas las partes son nuevas
  • luz mucho más clara (with light bulb 40/45W)
  • encendido muy estable con chispas de alta energía
  • mejor arranque y mejor combustión
