We often get asked: May I connect a battery wired to a Powerdynamo System to a battery charger without disconnecting the battery? |

| Previously we did reply, yes,
you may as our own tests did not show any negative effects. BUT we now have reports that using some of the modern intelligent chargers may fool the charger into delivering too much voltage. |
|
As we can not know what charger will be used and as we can not test our systems with all chargers, we warn customers no to load the battery externally from a charger whilst connected to the powerdynamo system. Such loading my do harm to the battery and/or the charger, possibly also our regulators. Please see also our general information on battery use |
